Abe Spectre-Covitz

I’ve been telling stories for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, my parents gave me the family point and shoot camera and I remember being fascinated by it. I was able to capture a moment however I saw it and save it forever. At the beginning of high school I really leaned into this fascination and started to chase after my passion of filmmaking and photography.

From 2021-2024 I served in the IDF. I served as a photographer in the Nahal Brigade where I spent countless hours in the field documenting field exercises, events, ceremonies, trips, and more (see my work here).
